Geospatial World Forum 2016

Van 23 tot 26 mei vindt het Geospatial World Forum 2016 plaats in het World Trade Center Rotterdam. Tijdens dit event komen meer dan 600 professionals afkomstig uit de hele wereld bij elkaar. Een unieke kans om internationale ontwikkelingen op te snuiven op een steenworp afstand van huis.

Dit jaar zijn de handen ineen geslagen met de European Geospatial Business Summit en CAPIGI (het international geo-event voor de agrosector) en viert de OpenSource Geogroep (OSGEO) haar  tiende verjaardag. Een combinatie die interessante netwerkmogelijkheden biedt. Centraal thema van het forum dit jaar is: Where’s the money? | disruptive business models. Hoe gaat de geosector om met technologische ontwikkelingen, nieuwe manieren van organiseren en financiering? Daarnaast snijdt het programma actuele subthema’s aan als smart cities, business analytics, klimaatverandering en sensoren.
