Recently, OGC Features and Geometries JSON (JSON-FG) was adopted. JSON-FG builds on GeoJSON but offers additional functionality.
On 25 June, we are organising an information session for source holders and software suppliers to introduce you to this standard. GeoJSON is a popular format, but it has a number of limitations. For example, GeoJSON formally only supports WGS84 latitudes and longitudes, no 3D and Time as a dimension and only geometry with simple features. The new standard JSON-FG tackles these limitations.
